Invisalign
When looking for an invisalign dentist, be assured that Dr. Lipshatz has completed the invisalign courses and combine this with over 20 years of knowledge of braces teeth.
Invisalign treatment involves using clear plastic aligners (sort of like a very thin transparent mouthguard) to move the teeth. The aligners are changed every 2 weeks with each new aligner being tight to further straighten the teeth. This technique is best suited to minor crowding problems and is virtually invisible in the mouth.
How does it work?
You wear each set of aligners for 2 weeks removing them only to eat drink and brush teeth. Each aligner is designed to move your teeth a small amount and places pressure on the teeth to move them towards their final position. You replace the aligners after 2 weeks and watch as your teeth straignten.
At each 6 weekly appointment visit we monitor your progress and then give you the next 3 sets of aligners.
What's in it for me?
You get to wear a nearly invisible appliance which will, straighten your teeth in roughly the same time as braces. Nobody will know you are wearing aligners and because they are removable you can clean your teeth well and there is minimal soreness.
